Garden Gate Club Hosts Talk by Horticulturalist

Guest speaker Ron Rabideau has participated in plant collection expeditions to China, Tibet, India and Siberia.

The Garden Gate Garden Club of Lawrenceville tonight (Monday, Sept. 19) will host a talk by Ron Rabideau, a horticulturalist and manager at Rare Find Nursery in Jackson Township.

Rabideau holds a bachelor’s degree in plant and soil science from the University of Massachusetts and has participated in plant collection expeditions to China, Tibet, India and Siberia.

He will give a talk entitled “Variegated Plants – Anything But Green.”

The program begins at 7 p.m. at the at 2688 Main St. (also known as Lawrence Road or Route 206).

The attendance fee for non-members of the club is $3. Refreshments will be served.
