Lawrence Cub Scout Pack Holds Open House Friday

Pack 28, which is open to boys in Grades 1-5, meets at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church.

Lawrence Township Cub Scout Pack 28, headquartered at the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, will host an open house for prospective new members tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 16.

The event will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. at the church at 1039 Lawrence Rd. (Route 206).

Boys in Grades 1 through 5 are invited to attend with their parents.

“Come and experience the fun and games of cub scouting with other cubs, while learning more about our pack and the scouting program,” reads a Pack 28 flyer about the event.

“Does your son like to spend time outside exploring his world, building things with his hands and learning new skills? Then scouting is for him! Cub scouting is a year-round family program for boys in Grades 1-5. It is designed to promote character, citizenship, family ties, price and teamwork, as well as develop both mental and physical fitness, all in a caring and fun environment.
