Lawrence Nature Center Hosts Full Moon Hike

Join the Friends of the Lawrence Nature Center for a January Full Moon Hike in Drexel Woods on Saturday, Jan. 7. 

Will the resident great horned owls be hooting their familiar "who, who, who, who" for us to hear as we quietly walk the forest, lit only by the glowing rays of a waxing full moon? 

Chilly temperatures and snowfall will only enhance the experience of walking along the trails of Drexel Woods at night with the Lawrence Nature Center’s volunteer naturalist. 

Bundle up and join us for a one-hour hike along the trail system.  We will return to the nature center and warm up with hot chocolate and cider and hopefully, some great stories to share in the warmth of the cozy Lawrence Nature Center.

Meet at the   This program will be from 7 p.m. to approximately 8 p.m.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Dress appropriately for the weather conditions; boots are highly recommended.
