Lawrence Rehab & Healthcare Celebrates Resident’s 20-Year Anniversary
Beloved Community Member Grace Hartz Known for Joyful, Positive Spirit

The secret to happiness – and longevity – can often be found in faith and a positive “go with the flow” attitude, noted Grace Hartz, who has resided at Lawrence Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Lawrence Twp. for 20 years. Friends, family and staff at the skilled nursing center delighted in celebrating the milestone anniversary with the beloved senior.
“A special celebration was certainly in order for our Grace,” said Lawrence’s Umang Shah, administrator. “She has been a source of joy and inspiration for all of us here at Lawrence for the past two decades.”
In 2004, Hartz and her late husband moved to the skilled nursing center together. “He was the true love of my life; I was 21 when we got married after he returned from Okinawa,” said Hartz. “We had promised each other we would always stay together. It was a miracle that there were two openings here at Lawrence.”
