LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Rider University's student-run radio station has once again earned recognition from the broadcasting industry's most prestigious organization, securing a nomination for the 2025 NAB Marconi Radio Award for College Station of the Year.

107.7 The Bronc joins just four other collegiate stations nationwide competing for the honor, which represents the highest recognition in broadcast radio. The National Association of Broadcasters will announce the winner on October 21 at a ceremony in New York City's Edison Ballroom.

This marks the fifth time in six years that The Bronc has earned this elite nomination, establishing the Lawrenceville-based station as one of the most consistently excellent college radio operations in the country.

General Manager John Mozes credits the station's continued success to its student broadcasters' dedication and vision. “The students’ unbreakable spirit and impenetrable belief in how the radio station not only produces content, but also how that content impacts the student experience here at Rider University is probably the biggest reason we are able to continually provide high quality, creative content for both the campus community and everyone who tunes into The Bronc,” Mozes said.

The recognition extends beyond campus borders, reaching both the university community and external listeners who tune into The Bronc's programming.

The NAB nomination caps a strong year of recognition for 107.7 The Bronc. The Princeton Review recently ranked the station as the 18th best college radio station in the nation, while the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System presented the station with two Media Awards in May.

Established in 1989 and named after radio inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the NAB Marconi Radio Awards recognize excellence across the broadcasting industry.
