It's time to get together again as the Conversation continues… Please save the date of Monday, Oct. 17, for the district and community to meet in the Lawrence High School Commons to continue the Conversation that began in April 2009.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for you to meet Dr. Crystal Lovell, our new Superintendent, and some of our community partners. Beginning at 7 p.m., you’ll learn about the district’s five-year strategic plan and current programs.

LIS Remembers 9/11 with Human Flag
On Sept. 9, 2011, all schools remembered and honored the 9/11 victims, their families, and heroes in a variety of ways. One of the Intermediate School's ways to honor the day was through a Human Flag, as seen in the video linked here on the LIS School Tube video channel.
Fourth Annual Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
The Fourth Annual Induction Ceremony for the Lawrence High School Athletic Hall of Fame is Saturday, Oct. 29, at Mercer Oaks beginning at 5:30 p.m.. The list of inductees includes: Dick Beach, Jim Csogi, Len Weister, Shannon Carroll, Mickey Forker, Annette Frascella, Enechi Modu, Paul O'Neil, Mark Polakowski, Mike Savino, John Schneider, and Bob Whartenby.
Tickets for the banquet are $45 and can be purchased by sending a check to LHS Hall of Fame, PO Box 55095, Trenton, N.J. 08638. Tickets will be mailed prior to the banquet. LHS Cardinal Bank Open for Business
The Cardinal Bank branch of First Choice Bank is back open for business in the Lawrence High School cafeteria for the school year. See the flyer for details.
Lawrence Athletic Booster Club Needs Volunteers
The Lawrence Athletic Booster Club is looking for volunteers at upcoming events and future officers for next year. This parent organization is a community of high school and middle school parents who donate their time to promote school spirit and support academic and athletic goals for all sports teams.
Through the sale of Cardinal Spiritwear, we sponsor scholarships, organize the new Cardinal Walkway, fund the annual athletic banquet and purchase extra essentials that enhance the athletic program. For more information regarding upcoming meeting dates or to volunteer at an event, please contact them.
