Lawrenceville Artists Gallery Hosts Silent Auction
The event Saturday evening (Sept. 10) will benefit Christine's Hope for Kids, a local charity dedicated to aiding underprivileged children and remembering a 22-year-old Hopewell Township resident who was killed in the earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010.

On Saturday, Sept. 10, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. the will host a reception and silent auction at the artists network’s gallery, 2683 Main St., in Lawrenceville.
The event will benefit Christine's Hope for Kids, a local charity dedicated to aiding underprivileged children in the United States and remembering 22-year-old Christine Gianacaci, a Hopewell Township resident who died in the massive earthquake that struck Haiti in January 2010.
Gianacaci and classmates from Lynn University in Florida were on a charity mission to the island nation. Their hotel collapsed in the earthwuake.

Lawrenceville Main Street artists have donated works for a silent auction and all the proceeds will go to Christine's Hope for Kids.
The and will set up outside the Gallery with ice creams and grilled foods.

Artists Network members will entertain youngsters while older visitors bid during the silent auction and view the art show inside the gallery.
“Hope is the theme of the art show for this special weekend, and we ‘hope’ you will attend, contribute to aid underprivileged children, and support the local art scene,” the artists network noted in a news release.
