Mercer Prosecutor's Office Marks Youth Justice Month With Music, Food & Unity

MERCER COUNTY, NJ - The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office is hosting a Youth Justice Jam to commemorate Youth Justice Action Month this October. The event will take place on Oct. 25, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Mercer County Community College Gymnasium, 122 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor.

The initiative raises awareness about the challenges young people face in the justice system and promotes fair, developmentally appropriate responses.

This year's theme, "United for Action – A Call for Unity," highlights the power of collaboration among youth, families, advocates, and communities to transform the justice system into one that heals and empowers.

Youth Justice Action Month reinforces the message that meaningful change requires collective effort to amplify youth voices and create a system centered on healing and opportunity.

The public is invited to attend the event featuring live music, games, food trucks, and opportunities to connect with the community while celebrating the potential of young people.
