Narcotics Investigation Leads To Charges For Lawrence Resident: PD

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A 25-year-old Lawrenceville resident was arrested and charged following a two-week-long narcotics investigation, Police Chief Chris Longo said.
On Tuesday, around 6 a.m., Lawrence Township Police Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence along the first block of Woodmont Drive. “The search warrant execution was the result of a two-week-long narcotics investigation conducted by the Lawrence Township Police Department,” Longo said.
Ahsan Shaikh, 25 was arrested and charged with manufacture defacement of weapons, manufacture firearm with 3D printer, manufacture of covert or undetectable firearm, Possession prohibited weapons and devices, large capacity magazines, and criminal mischief among other offenses.

Shaikh was transported to the Mercer County Correctional Center awaiting a detention hearing.
The Lawrence Township Police Department was assisted by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force and the Mercer County Tactical Response Team.
