Obituary: Joseph James Giangrasso, 82
Lifelong area resident was an army veteran of the Korean War.

Joseph James Giangrasso, 82, of Lawrence Township passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Royal Health Gate Nursing and Rehab Center in Trenton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He was an honorably discharged U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was formerly employed by Lawrence Hose and retired from General Motors Corp. after 15 years of service.
Mr. Giangrasso was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church of Trenton. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Son of the late Pietro and Jennie Giangrasso, father-in-law of the late Burton Banning and brother of the late Daniel Giangrasso, he is survived by his wife of 52 years Rose Giangrasso; his daughter Bobbie Banning; sons and daughters-in-law Daniel and Nancy Reffner and Joseph and Laurie Giangrasso; a sister and brother-in-law Rose and John Pennacchi; brother and sister-in-law Albert and Doris Giangrasso; sister-in-law,Majorite Giangrasso; grandchildren Alison Reffner, Lyndi Madison Giangrasso and Vincenzo Luciano Giangrasso; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. at , 1253 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence.
Interment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville
Family and friends may call Monday, Dec. 26, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Colonial Home.
