Osteoporosis Screenings to be Held at Senior Center

Free screenings for Lawrence Township residents will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4.

Free osteoporosis screenings for Lawrence Township residents will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the at 30 Darrah Lane East.

The screenings – sponsored by the Lawrence Township Health Department – will be performed by Joan Mitchell, a registered nurse from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.

And at 11 a.m. the following Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the Senior Center, registered nurse Kathy Korwin from the Lawrence Township Health Department will present a lecture entitled “Cold and Flu Prevention.”
