Photo Gallery: Lawrence Township Community Day
Fun was had by young and old this past Sunday as the township celebrated all things Lawrence.
On Sunday, Oct. 2, people from all over Lawrence Township, and beyond its borders, filled the Yeger Drive parking lot of Village Park to take part in the township's annual Community Day festival.
Representatives of dozens of township groups, nonprofits and businesses – including Lawrenceville Patch – were on hand to talk to attendees and pass out informational materials. Different food vendors served up steak sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, fries and other tasty treats.
There were pony rides, wagon rides and a fire juggler to entertain the children. Music was provided by the Rider university radio station. Lawrence High School’s Red Scare band performed as well.
