Rider University to Host 9/11 Memorial Service Sunday
The service on Sunday will mark the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and remember the victims, including eight Rider students and graduates.

Lawrence Township residents are invited to join the Rider University community Sunday afternoon to mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and remember the victims of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 – eight of whom belonged to the “Rider family.”
The service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday on the new Academic Building Plaza of Rider’s Lawrence Township campus at 2083 Lawrence Rd. (Route 206).
Lawrence Township police officers and volunteer firefighters, as well as soldiers from the New Jersey National Guard, will take part in the service.

And at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Princeton Brass Band will perform a 9/11 Memorial Concert at Rider's Bart Leudeke Center Theater. The concert, which is open to the public and free, will include works by Aaron Copland, Edward Gregson, Bernard Hoffer and others.
