Slight Change Made to Community Day Location

A slight change in the location of , to be held Sunday, Oct. 2, was announced by the township late Saturday night:

Lawrence Township Community Day is still planned for Sunday, Oct. 2, from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm  Due to the amount of rain the last several days the Bergen Street side of Village Park remains extremely wet. As a result Community Day will be held in the Yeger Drive parking lot. Yeger Drive will be closed to through traffic between Carver Place and Manors Boulevard. Attendees are advised to park in the Bergen Street and Gordon Avenue lots and walk to the festivities.
