Monday

Story-time for 2-5 yrs, Lawrence Library, 2751 Route 1, Lawrence Township, 10 a.m.

Story-time and craft for ages 2-5 with a caregiver. 

Tuesday

217 Kids Camp, Mercer County Park, West Picnic Area, 9 a.m.

Hosted by 217church in Hamilton, 217 Kids camp is designed for children entering kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids will sing songs, watch skits, get a little wet and wild in games, create crafts, and eat snacks. They will also be collecting school supplies for kids in need in Mercer County.

LNC Summer Family Night, Lawrence Nature Center, 481 Drexel Ave., Lawrence Township, 7 p.m.

Create and take home your own small Zen garden of beauty and tranquility.  Teresita Bastides-Heron, member of the Lawrence Nature Center Board and the Garden Gate Garden Club will show children and adults how to create a Zen garden, the Western world's name for a Japanese Rock Garden.

Wednesday

"Powers Backyard Barbecue, 62 Pine Knoll Drive, Lawrence Twp, 5:30 p.m.

Join Mayor Jim Kownacki and Councilman Steve Brame for the "Powers Backyard Barbecue." A fundraiser at the home of Council Michael and Nancy
Powers. $50 per person payable to the Election Fund of Kownacki and Brame. RSVP by Aug. 5 to mpowers326@yahoo.com.

Friday

Computer Camp for Seniors, Lawrence Library, 2751 Route 1, Lawrence Township, 10 a.m.

Seniors will be taught basic Mouse skills and Internet use. Space is limited and seniors must sign up at the senior center.
