Woman Killed After Being Struck By NJ Transit Train In Trenton
The incident took place near Bordentown Station, officials said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ - A pedestrian died Wednesday morning after being struck by an NJ Transit River LINE light rail train in Trenton, according to officials.
The collision happened around 5:55 a.m. near Bordentown Station. NJ Transit officials said the woman had been trespassing on the tracks at the time of the incident.
Rail service remains suspended in both directions between Cass Street and Roebling stations. Substitute bus service is being provided.
