Crab Cakes in Oceanport, Concerts in Little Silver This Week
Monmouth Park will host a crab cake cook-off this weekend.

The smell of crab cakes in Oceanport and the sound of music in Little Silver will fill the area this weekend.
Monmouth Park will host its annual Shore Chef Crab Cake Cook-Off on Aug. 17 and Aug. 18 from 12-5 p.m.
Local chefs will compete for the best crab cake award and a People's Choice Award in the Crab Cake Cook-Off.

Local musicians John Luckenbill and Sons Big Band will play at the Markham Place gazebo on Aug. 18 at 7 p.m.
This will be the second of the borough's Summer Music at the Gazebo concerts this month.
The Oceanport Council will also meet on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at Markham Place School. We'll bring you the latest news from that meeting as soon as we get it.
