Long Branch Light The Night Event Concludes With Fireworks Tonight
The fundraising event will pay tribute to anyone battling blood cancer.

LONG BRANCH, NJ - The city's Light The Night Walk will began at 6:45 p.m. today and run until 7:15 p.m., when a brief fireworks display will be held.
Registration for the one-mile walk starts at 4:30 p.m. There will be a 6:30 ceremony, followed by the walk at 6:45 p.m. The fireworks display will be held after the walk at the Great Lawn Beach, according to the Long Branch Police Department website.
Walk participants will carry illuminated lanterns: red for supporters, white for survivors and gold in memory of a loved one. Teams of friends, families and co-workers join together to bring light to the dark world of cancer.
