Man Fatally Shot At Hazlet Motel Identified As Eatontown Taxi Driver

Details are still very scant about how and why an Eatontown man was shot to death Saturday morning in the parking lot of Holly Hill motel.

HAZLET, NJ — Details are still very scant about how and why a man was shot to death Saturday morning in the parking lot of a motel off Hwy. 36 in Hazlet.

But the man who was killed was an Eatontown resident working as a taxi driver. The victim is identified as Anthony Hill, 42, of Eatontown, the Monmouth County Prosecutor revealed Wednesday.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim, deceased on the ground near a Dumpster. Hill had been shot multiple times and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The public reported seeing a large police presence Saturday morning at the Holly Hill Motel Saturday morning.
