Monmouth Beach Receives $55K Grant For New Firefighting Equipment

MONMOUTH BEACH, NJ — Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ6) helped secure $55,581 in federal funding for the borough of Monmouth Beach to purchase new fire-fighting equipment, Pallone's office announced Monday, Aug. 19.

The funding was made possible through a FEMA grant and will be used by Monmouth Beach to replace more than 5,000 feet of fire hose.

“I want to thank Congressman Pallone for his assistance in obtaining this crucial grant for the Monmouth Beach Fire Department,” said Monmouth Beach Mayor David Stickle. “This critical funding will help us replace all the fire hoses on our two trucks to ensure our brave firefighters have the necessary equipment to save lives."
