Price Increase Set For 2023 Long Branch Beach Badges

LONG BRANCH, NJ - If you've had about enough of winter and are ready to start thinking about summer, here's some good news: Long Branch beach badges are on sale now for the 2023 season.

Seasonal badges are available on sale through May 26, with sale prices starting at $70 for adults ages 18 to 61 and $30 for students ages 14 to 17. After May 27, seasonal badges will only be available at the beach office.

The sale price is a steep increase from the $45 for adults, $30 for 14-17 pricing from this time last year. It was not immediately clear what prompted the increase in badge price. Read more: As 2023 Beach Badge Prices Soar, Preseason Deals Offer Relief

Though daily pricing has not been made available yet, in 2022, daily badges were priced at $5 for those 18 and older on weekdays, $7 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Teens 14 to 17 were charged $3 daily.

Badges are not required for children 13 and under, or seniors 62 and above. Badges are for Long Branch municipal beaches, and are not valid at Seven Presidents.

The 2023 season beach badges are available for purchase in-person via cash or credit at Long Branch Recreation (231 Wilbur Ray Ave.) or cash only at the Tax Collector’s Office (344 Broadway).
