LONG VALLEY, NJ — There could be delays on Fairmount Road on Tuesday and Wednesday because of roadwork, according to the Washington Township Police Department.

Construction was planned both days on Route 517/Fairmount Road between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews lay pipe, the police department posted in an alert.

The roadwork will take place on the road’s shoulder “between the traffic light at the center of town and Highland Ave. at the top of the hill,” police said.
