Long Valley Author Signs Copies of Latest Book At Township Library

Long Valley's Kim Kavin will sign copies of "The Dog Merchants: Inside the Big Business of Breeders, Pet Stores, and Rescuers."

LONG VALLEY, N.J.– Long Valley author Kim Kavin will sign copies of her new book "The Dog Merchants: Inside the Big Business of Breeders, Pet Stores, and Rescuers" at the township library on Thursday.

The book was published in May and given a five-star review by The Washington Post.

Municipalities across the state have discussed or adopted ordinances regarding the sale of "puppy mill" dogs.

Kavin's previous book "Little Boy Blue" (2012) was featured on CNN.

The event is scheduled to run from 7-8:30 p.m. inside the meeting room.
