Market Street Mission’s Life Change Program is a residential recovery program for men struggling with alcoholism and substance abuse. During their time here, residents participate in work therapy, Bible studies, chapel services, AA/NA recovery meetings, individual and group counseling, educational development and career preparation in our learning center, and a final phase of classroom instruction meant to prepare our residents for a responsible, sober life after they graduate.

“I’m grateful for my basic needs like food, shelter and clothing that the Mission provided. But I think the main thing it’s given me is time to work on things that were tripping me up," one upcoming graduate said. "I’m grateful for the patience people have shown me. I’ve been blessed to still have my family, and it’s important to me to keep them."
