Long Valley Water Main On Mountain View Road Under Repair
Authorities are asking Washington Twp. residents to use alternative routes around a water main break on Mountain View Road Wednesday morning
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A water main break on Mountain View Avenue in Washington Township remains under repair late Wednesday morning.
The Washington Township Municipal Utilities Authority alerted residents of the water main break on Mountain View Avenue and said it is being repaired.
Customers from 23 Mountain View to the intersection of Mountain View and Old Farmers roads will be without water service while the repair is completed, Township authorities said.

An alert from Washinton Township Government posted at 10 a.m. on social media said the repair estimate is approximately 6 hours. An earlier alert told motorists to use alternative roadways.
