New School Board Members To Be Sworn In At Long Valley Meeting

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Two new faces will be joining the Washington Township Board of Education this week, as the annual reorganization meeting is scheduled for Tuesday night.

When the board meets for its reorganization meeting on Jan. 3, newcomers Lyndsay Suchy and John Holly, as well as incumbent and current board president Jessica DeCicco, will be sworn in.

A new board president and vice president will also be selected during the meeting. The current vice president, Kelly DeMayo, did not run for re-election this past November.

Several other positions will also be appointed at the start of the meeting, according to the posted agenda.

The meeting will be open to the public and is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Long Valley Middle School Performing Arts Center.
