Roadwork Projects May Cause Traffic Tie-Ups In Long Valley
There are a couple of road projects that Washington Township police alerted drivers about for Thursday and Friday.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Roadwork that started on Wednesday on Mountain View Avenue, is expected to remain ongoing on Thursday and Friday, according to the Washington Township Police Department.
Washington Township police alerted drivers that between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday, roadwork is expected to happen northbound on Mountain View Avenue. The police department wrote that drivers will face a detour and possible traffic delays.
JCP&L plans to replace Schooleys Mountain Road street lights on Thursday, the police department said. Police did not immediately specify the utility’s project timeframe, but said there could be an impact on driver’s travel schedules.
