• Madison Pool Advisory Board Says Community Pool Will Reopen for 2026 Season With New Operations, Management Plan (tapinto.net) — Madison’s community pool is expected to reopen for the 2026 season under a completely revamped management and operations plan, including a professional pool operator and new snack bar partner. Borough and advisory board members promise clearer schedules, transparent pricing, better communication, and a February membership campaign to rebuild residents’ trust and improve the overall experience for families and swimmers.
   

• Drew University announces deal to save Drew Forest — again (morristowngreen.com) — Madison and Drew University have finalized agreements for the borough to buy and permanently preserve the 47.3-acre Drew Forest while opening other Drew-owned Madison Avenue land for multi-family, inclusionary housing. The deal relies on $9 million in state funding and a planned $5 million fundraising campaign, and officials promise more details and public input opportunities as redevelopment plans take shape.
   

• Baisch lifts Madison to win against Oak Knoll - Girls ice hockey recap (nj.com subscription) — Madison’s girls ice hockey team edged Oak Knoll 2-1 at Mennen Arena, powered by two goals from Scarlet Baisch and 32 saves by goalie Clementine Dickson-Child. The win evens Madison’s record and highlights strong contributions from several skaters in a tight, come-from-behind matchup.
