Armed Fugitive Captured At George Washington Bridge: Prosecutor
A fugitive who was considered armed and dangerous was captured at the George Washington Bridge entrance, the prosecutor's office said.
FORT LEE, NJ — A wanted fugitive who was considered armed and dangerous was captured Friday in Bergen County, Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Dwayne Kevin Sharlow, 55, of Prosper, Texas, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice, Musella said.
Detectives learned that Sharlow was a fugitive traveling through Bergen County on Interstate 95 and initiated a traffic stop at the entrance to the George Washington Bridge, the prosecutor's office said.

Sharlow was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending an extradition hearing.
