Fireworks And Halloween Parade Planned In Mahwah This Weekend

A treat-filled day is planned in Mahwah this weekend in advance of Halloween, and you can donate to the hungry.

MAHWAH, NJ — As Halloween nears, the town of Mahwah has announced an evening of fun events the weekend before.

This Saturday, a children's Halloween parade will be held at 5 p.m., followed by activities and then 6:30 fireworks.

The events will take place at Commodore Perry Field. Parking is available at Lincoln Tech with a free shuttle service.

The town said, "Hunger is scary. Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the CFA and help our neighbors in need." The CFA is the Center for Food Action.

Whistle Stop Concessions will sell hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and more. And Mason Jar will offer a menu of Oktoberfest items for purchase.
