First Accumulating Snow Of Season In Bergen Co.: Here's How Much Fell
Just how many inches of snow did Bergen County receive overnight Sunday? Find out below.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Some light snow accumulations, ranging from 0.3 to nearly three inches, were recorded across Bergen County Sunday into early Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
An agency report revealed the unofficial snow totals for three Bergen County towns, including Mahwah, Franklin Lakes and Washington Township, all for which were measured by trained weather spotters.
Mahwah, out of the towns listed, received the lightest snow amount at 0.3 inches, recorded at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, whereas Franklin Lakes received the heaviest amount at 2.8 inches, as of 12:45 a.m. Monday.

Washington Township picked up one-half inch of snow, according to a measurement taken at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Forecasts are calling for a little afternoon rain Thursday, and periods of rain Friday, in Bergen County, though it is unlikely that the weather will turn freezing, according to AccuWeather.

Highs are expected to remain in in the lower to mid-40s throughout the week, AccuWeather said.
