Flash Flood Warning In Effect For Parts Of Bergen County
A flood warning is in place for East Central Bergen County until 2:15 p.m., the National Weather Service said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A flash flood warning is in effect for East Central Bergen County until 2:15 p.m. Monday, the National Weather Service announced.
Radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between one and one and a half inches of rain has fallen, as of 12:46 p.m. An additional one to two inches of rain are possible.
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected in small creaks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses, and in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Bergenfield, Englewood, Oradell, Norwood, Dumont, New Milford, Tenafly, River Edge, Westwood, Hillsdale, River Vale, Maywood, Cresskill, Closter, Emerson, Old Tappan, Rochelle Park, Demarest, Harrington Park and Northvale.
