Flood Watch Issued For Bergen County For All Of Sunday

NORTH JERSEY, NJ — The National Weather Service has predicted thundstorms on and off this weekend, and has issued a flood watch for Bergen County and four other counties that starts at 12 a.m. Sunday and continues throughout the day.

"These totals may result in flash flooding of urban and low lying areas and quick responding rivers and streams," says the watch. Flash floods have caught people off guard and proved fatal, as in the case of a 35-year-old woman in New York State last week.
