Loving, wife, mother of three, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, best friend

Hava Altman Jacomowitz, 58, untimely passed away on Jan. 12, 2025; remembered as a loving mother of her three children, devoted and loving wife to her husband, loving daughter, sister-in-law, and devoted friend of many. She’s also remembered as a committed employee of the Village of Spring Valley, where those she worked with and others she came in contact with said her personality was dynamic and trusting. Her ultimate joy in life was watching her children grow and be happy, cherishing such beautiful moments with her husband.
Hava is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Jacomowitz, her three children, Zachary Jacomowitz, Jeremy Jacomowitz, and Emily Jacomowitz, her daughter-in-law, Megan Jacomowitz, her parents, Karol and Gita Altman, her in-laws, Albert and Roberta Jacomowitz, her sister-in-law Jill Fragoso, brother-in-law Ralph Fragoso, her nephew Samuel Fragoso and her niece Hanna Fragoso, plus countless friends as well as family in America, Denmark, and Israel.
The Jacomowitz family would like to express their love to everyone: family and friends who attended Hava's visitation on Jan. 16, the funeral on Jan. 17, paying the one-day Shiva call on Jan. 19, and those who expressed their thoughts and prayers on social media. Also, a big thank you to the staff at Wanamaker & Carlough in Suffern, New York, for a beautiful, heartfelt Visitation. She is resting and at peace at Beth El Cemetery in Paramus, New Jersey.
