Winter Storm Warning: Mahwah Could Get 8 Inches Of Snow
Hazardous conditions could impact commutes in Mahwah Monday evening, forecasters warn.
MAHWAH, NJ — A winter storm barreling toward Mahwah could dump up to 8 inches of snow on the township Monday evening and Tuesday morning, forecasters warn.
Mahwah is among several Bergen County towns under a winter storm warning from 6 p.m. Monday until 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Heavy snowfall is on tap, with five to eight inches of snow expected, forecasters said.

The system will bring snowfall to western Bergen County, along with other portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, according to a local Nixle alert.
Hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Travel could be very difficult, the alert said.

"If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency, the alert added. "Check local transportation department information services for the latest road conditions."
