Mahwah Man in Possession of Heroin Arrested in Elmwood Park, Police Say

A Mahwah man was arrested in Elmwood Park last week after police found he was allegedly in possession of heroin.

Christopher Kelley, 45, of Mahwah was arrested at 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 after police approached him and found he was allegedly carrying 10 bags of heroin and a small amount of marijuana, NorthJersey.com reported.

Kelley was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was released and is scheduled to appear in court.
