Mahwah Schools on 2-Hour Delay Wednesday

Amidst a warning from township authorities, Mahwah schools announced a two-hour delay for school Wednesday. The district announced the delayed opening on its website Tuesday night.

The Mahwah Police Department issued a Nixle alert warning residents of "slick and slippery roads" Wednesday morning.

"Untreated roads and sidewalks will be especially slick. Be alert when driving and exercise caution while out [Tuesday] evening or during [Wednesday's] early morning commute," the alert said.
