Marching Thunderbirds Prepare To Perform This Fall In Mahwah
Mahwah High School students participated in band camp to prepare for the 2022-23 season.
MAHWAH, NJ — During Band Camp this past week, the Mahwah High School Marching Thunderbirds took a thrilling trip to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, an amusement park in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. And they got to see "amazing performances" at the Drum Corp International Eastern Classic in Allentown Saturday evening, the school said on Twitter.
All of this was capping off a week of practice for the band's upcoming 2022-23 season.
Students dressed up throughout the week, including on Beach Day, where one student was seen in a photo wearing a Hawaiian shirt, and Character Day, where another student was seen clothed as Toad from the Mario franchise.
