Minor Local Flooding, No Road Closures in Mahwah
O&R reported 25 Mahwah residents without power Wednesday morning.
After some heavy rains on the overnight Tuesday, a storm that was expected to impact travel throughout Mahwah hadn’t.
According to township officials, as of 11 a.m., the storm had only led to minor pooling in flood-prone areas during heavy rains. Slight flooding was reported at the cul de sac at North Railroad Avenue and Alexandra Court.
However, the rain has not yet led to any major downed trees or road closures, Mahwah police confirmed Wednesday morning.

As of 11:20 a.m., Orange and Rockland was reporting 25 customers in Mahwah had lost power, with no estimated restoration time.
The National Weather Service Flood Watch is in effect until 4 p.m. Wednesday, and O&R announced its Storm Watch will continue throughout the day Wednesday.
