Need For Speed? Top Gun: Maverick Is Thursday's Free Mahwah Movie
If you like Tom Cruise, or naval aviators, or just watching a movie under the stars with neighbors, come out to Mahwah for the free event.
MAHWAH, NJ — Do you have the need for speed?
This Thursday's Movie Night Under the Stars in Mahwah will be Top Gun: Maverick, which is rated PG-13.
The 2022 film is a sequel to the 1986 classic starring Tom Cruise as a fighter pilot. In the new movie, "After thirty years, Maverick is still pushing the envelope as a top naval aviator, but must confront ghosts of his past when he leads Top Gun's elite graduates on a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those chosen to fly it."

The movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. or "as soon as darkness allows," at Commodore Perry Field, 70 East Ramapo Ave. View Facility
The film will be shown on a large 25-foot screen.

"Bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy the big screen entertainment!" organizers said. The refreshment stand will be open serving food, snacks, and drinks at reasonable prices. Make it a night of family fun under the stars!"
