New Culinary Destination Set To Open At American Dream

American Dream is introducing a new 10,000 square-foot food hall to the space, incorporating high-quality offerings, and oversized games.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — American Dream is set to open The Food Hall, a go-to dining destination that will feature seven new fast-casual options, soft seating and oversized games like corn hole, Jenga and Connect 4, the East Rutherford mall said Thursday in a news release.

Near the Dream stage, which brings concerts and live entertainment all year, the 10,000 square-foot food hall is located on Level 2 in Court A, and will incorporate Van Leeuwen Ice Cream and Best Pizza into the space.

Joining those two standouts are a "first-of-its-kind" wine concept called Vinoteca; and "iconic" New York City eateries opening their first NJ locations, Lady M and Vanessa's Dumpling House. More information is as follows:

Vinoteca: Guests can taste their way through 64 curated wines self-served through an interactive machine that pours one-ounce sips, three-ounce tastes, or five-ounce glasses.

Lady M: Famous for its mille crepes, Lady M marries French pastry techniques with Japanese sensibilities, resulting in sweet cakes for every occasion.

Vanessa's Dumpling House: Offering guests Beijing-style authentic dumplings, alongside a menu of noodles, soups, salads and sauces, the restaurant specializes in sesame pancake sandwiches stuffed with roast pork, beef, veggies, chicken, egg and duck.

“The addition of these unique food and wine concepts perfectly complements our world-class attractions and robust retail offerings, reinforcing American Dream as an unrivaled destination," Don Ghermezian, CEO of American Dream, said in the news release.

American Dream will celebrate the opening of the food hall with a party on July 13, complete with a corn hole tournament, live music, kids’ games, prizes and more. Soon, the food hall will also introduce a cocktail bar and an all-natural, organic cookie company, the news release.
