North Jersey Weekend Events: Jan. 28-29

NORTH JERSEY, NJ — As winter marches on, there is plenty happening this weekend in North Jersey.

Bumpin Uglies: Debonair Music Hall, Teaneck

Pressing Strings is a musical group from the Maryland’s capital city of Annapolis, often described musically as a blend of Indie, folk, and soul.

New Jersey Film Festival: Voorhees Hall, New Brunswick

The 41st Bi-Annual New Jersey Film Festival will be taking place on select Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between January 27-February 19.

The festival's Shorts Program #1 is online for 24 hours and in person at 5 p.m.
