NY Giant Tiki Barber To Give Ramapo College Commencement Address

Barber played 10 years for the Giants. He is an entrepreneur, author, and hosts a nationally syndicated radio show.

MAHWAH, NJ — Former New York Giant Tiki Barber will give the keynote address at Ramapo College of New Jersey's undergraduate commencement ceremony May 17.

Barber is co-host of the national radio program "Tiki & Tierney." He played for 10 years in the National Football League, all with the New York Giants. A running back, Barber finished his career with more than 15,000 total yards.

Barber is a graduate of the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce with a concentration in management information systems.

Barber began his broadcasting career in 1998 with WFAN, which led to stints at WCBS-TV, Sirius Satellite Radio, the YES Network and eventually as a morning host on Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends. He also worked for NBC News and Sports, The "TODAY Show," and "Football Night In America" and covered the 2008 Summer Olympics for MSNBC.

Barber co-founded Julius Inc., a marketing and influencer search tool, and Thuzuio Inc., an even and content creation company. He is a founding member of Grove Group Management, a lifestyle branding and investment company focusing on the cannabis industry.

Barber co-authored, with his twin brother, Ronde, three children's books and eight young-adult novels. He also wrote a memoir of his NFL career in 2007.

Ramapo College's undergraduate commencement ceremony is at the Prudential Center in Newark.
