Small Bergen County Town Has 'No Kings' Turnout: See Photos
Two Bergen County residents shared photos of the "No Kings" protest in one of the county's smaller towns.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — While "No Kings" protests in North Jersey cities like Maplewood and Jersey City drew large crowds and visits from political officials such as Sen. Andy Kim, a few protests in smaller towns drew participants as well.
In Bergen County, the No Kings website listed protests in Teaneck and Rutherford. But one smaller town drew a crowd.
Corinna Fox, who attended the River Edge event, said that 450 people signed up for their protest, but it appeared that at least 500 showed up, including state Assembly members Lisa Swain and Chris Tully. Previous protests in the town amassed only 100-150 people, she said.
