Snow Totals Released For Bergen County Towns From Overnight

From Franklin Lakes to Fair Lawn, several Bergen County towns reported snow accumulations. See what the NWS now expects for Wednesday.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Parts of Bergen County got a snow accumulation overnight into Monday, prompting a weather statement about slippery roads. And more is expected for Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service reported these accumulations on Sunday night and Monday morning, logged by spotters in Bergen County:

  • Franklin Lakes 1.2 inches, 10:45 p.m.
  • East Rutherford 1 inch, 11:37 p.m.
  • Fair Lawn 1 inch, 5:46 a.m.
  • River Edge 0.4 inches, northeast 0.5 inches, at 6:45 a.m
  • Westwood 1.6 inches, 11:45 p.m.
  • Waldwick 1.4 inches, 11:40 p.m.

This Wednesday, there's a 90 percent chance of rain, sleet, or snow after 4 a.m., making for slippery roads for the Wednesday morning commute, the NWS said.
