'Super Charismatic' Queer A Cappella Group Coming To Mahwah
Tonewall, named in honor of the 1969 Stonewall Riots, is performing a concert at Ramapo College to promote diversity and LGBTQ+ inclusion.

MAHWAH, NJ — "Who doesn't looove a cappella! We live for the applause of a worthy cause."
TONEWALL, a "super charismatic" queer a cappella group part of the New York City Gay Men's Chorus, is performing at Ramapo College for not only a night full of fun, catchy songs but also a "call to action" to support the LGBTQ+ community, according to sources.
Named in honor of the 1969 Stonewall riots, the award-winning a cappella group is performing songs from popular artists, such as Lizzo, Queen and Miley Cyrus, and queer pop stars like Betty Who.

Audiences are invited to a meet 'n' great with the group following the standing room only show, which will take place at 8 p.m. on Dec. 1 at the Berrie Center for the Arts.
TONEWALL promotes diversity, equity and inclusion through their dance arrangements, and have appeared in mainstream New York City venues such as Carnegie Hall, Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden and others.
