Winter Storm Warning: Wyckoff Could Get 8 Inches Of Snow

Hazardous conditions could impact commutes in Wyckoff Monday evening, forecasters warn.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Up to eight inches of snow and 21 mph wind gusts could hit Wyckoff as a winter storm moves through the area, forecasts show.

Wyckoff is among several Bergen County towns under a winter storm warning, from 6 p.m. Monday until 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Heavy snowfall is on tap, with four to eight inches of snow possible, and a 100% chance of precipitation calculated. Wind chills could reach six degrees cooler than the low of 31, forecasters said.

The system will bring snowfall to western Bergen County, along with other portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, according to an NWS alert.

Hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Travel could be very difficult, the alert said.

"If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency," the alert added. "Check local transportation department information services for the latest road conditions."
