A water main break on Tennent Road south at Sandybrook Road has caused an emergency road closure Friday morning, according to Manalapan Police Captain Michael Fountain. As of Friday afternoon, the entire road is closed at the intersection of Taylor Mills Road and Tennent Road. Fountain said that there is no way to pass this intersection from any direction, so it is advisable to stay away from the area. This is expected to be a long duration project, so please follow the detours or come up with an alternate route. <ul> <li>Traffic south on Tennent will be detoured at Sandybrook</li> <li> Traffic North on Tennent will be detoured onto Taylor Mills east toward Rt 9</li> <li> Traffic going west on Taylor Mills will be pushed north on Tennent</li> <li> Traffic west on Taylor Mills will be pushed onto Pease Rd North.</li> </ul>
