Weekend: Charity Blue Claws Game & Girl Power at Library

The Monmouth County Library is having a Girl Power Weekend with super fun events for girls in sixth grade and higher on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21. The activities begin at 9 a.m. Saturday starting out with girl power yoga! Activities on Sunday begin at 1:30 p.m. Registration is required. For more information and to register, click here.

Blue Claws Game for Charity

The Learning Experience is bringing people to the Lakewood Blue Claws game vs. the Savanna Sand Gnats on Saturday, April 20. They are selling a special family fun package of two adults and one child for $65. The ticket proceeds benefit Kidz 4 Kidz, an organization that provides hope and help for children with cancer. The tickets include round trip transportation, three game day tickets, one child wristband for unlimited access to jump park rides, child's ice cream treat, Lakewood Blue Claw Souvenir, and swag bags from TLE and Kidz 4 Kidz. Additional child packages cost $30. The bus leaving for the game departs from the Learning Experience at 2:30 p.m. For more information, click here.

Comedy Play

The Freehold Center Players are currently performing Neil Simon’s “Laughter on the 23rd Floor”, a comedy about Simon’s experience as a staff writer on Sid Caesar’s “Your Show of Shows”. Performances this week are on Fridays and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $23 for students and seniors and $25 for adults. Center Players is located at 35 South Street in Freehold.
