BRIELLE - Brielle Police Chief Michael Palmer has confirmed that a 22-year-old man drowned early Tuesday in a school board member's backyard swimming pool on Shore Drive. The homeowner is listed as Tedd Vitale, a member of the Brielle Board of Education, according to a report in <a href="http://www.app.com/story/news/local/emergencies/2017/08/02/man-drowns-brielle-pool/532645001/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">app.com.</a> Police responded to a report of a drowning at around 3 a.m. The chief did not identify the victim and referred questions to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
